On Christmas Eve 2020, a 31-year-old AIDS patient said goodbye to life: he had a portal vein thrombosis, chronic hepatitis C, liver cancer, and Kaposi’s sarcoma of the skin and intestine. A test for covid-19 came back positive. By May 2021, he was one of 40 HIV victims that the Directorate General of Health “turned” into SARS-CoV-2 victims.
