The recommendation of vaccination of children has raised several questions among experts and health professionals, in Portugal and in other European countries. In Norway and the UK, a decision was recently made that vaccination would no longer be a “strong recommendation from the authorities” but an individual deliberation. In children with chronic diseases vaccination is still recommended in these countries.
