Gilead got approval for large purchases of a drug against covid-19 that came to be advised against by the World Health Organization. In Portugal it was about 20 million Euros spent, and it could have been even more. But unlike other “cursed” drugs, such as ivermectin, remdesivir has always had the support of many well-placed doctors, four of whom are part of the DGS team responsible for therapies to be applied in hospitals. And two are even members of the Gabinete de Crise da Ordem dos Médicos, chosen by the President of the Portuguese Medical Association, Miguel Guimarães. All of them received direct money from Gilead, and because of remdesivir. They were not the only ones. PAGE ONE reveals a case that should be a “police” case.
