First they discovered the weaknesses of SARS CoV-2 and the target they had to attack to weaken it. Now they have discovered three compounds that can make patients “instead of going to the hospital to stay home and blow their nose.” At this moment, the team from the Institute of Chemical and Biological Technology of the NOVA University of Lisbon, which led the investigation, is already in the process of registering a patent for the discovery, which could have world-wide relevance.
