The opinion of the Chamber of Pharmacists, requested by the DGS, reveals that there is no unanimity in the class on the subject and concludes that “it is our opinion that there should be prudence in the decision on universal vaccination of people between 12 and 15 years old in Portugal, vaccination against COVID-19 in this population should be reserved, for now, for the population of these age groups with risk factors for the development of severe COVID-19 disease, after infection by SARS-CoV-2.”
